At the end of class each student added on a personalized headpiece that ranged from a teapot to a birthday cake!

Kids-in-Residence excursion!
Lux's Kids-in-Residence class met at local artist Cheryl Tall's studio in Leucadia on Thursday to build clay self-portraits that were inspired by Claudette Schreuders' sculpture Ma. Cheryl demonstrated techniques and tools and then the kids set out building.
At the end of class each student added on a personalized headpiece that ranged from a teapot to a birthday cake!
