Exploring Lila Jang's wonderland!

Hundreds of kids have already tiptoed through the magical world Lila Jang created (with whimiscal sculptures that play off the opulence of Baroque furnishings) since the exhibition opened on January 12.

They can't decide if the dresser sticking its tongue out is playful or naughty.

Or whether these twisted chairs are too tired to sit up straight or leaning in to tell a secret.

Is the sofa trying to escape something or just being acrobatic?

Students meet and greet local furniture-maker and artist, Paul Henry and ask him about the table he is building in the Lux studio in response to Lila's creations.

After exploring the studio students sculpt their own imaginative versions of chairs, couches, beds and lamps.

And paint them white--just like Lila!
